The Jonathan Bender Foundation

The Jonathan Bender Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, provides students the tools to identify their gifts, realize their passions, and explore choices available to lead a productive, successful life after graduating high school.  The various Programs are ran by Jonathan and his team bringing motivation, education, awareness and assistance to encourage growth and confidence in each participating student.

The Foundation started after Hurricane Katrina when Jonathan realized there was a need for this non-profit.  Jonathan was an amazing basketball player but that wasn’t where his passions lie; basketball was the platform which led to him discovering his own passions and talents.  Today, Jonathan has developed these and incorporates them into everything he does and wants to educate students in the same way.  By educating through the Foundation, the Programs help develop each student’s passions and talents while also motivating them to graduate as that is a nationwide problem that Jonathan is dedicated to help resolve.
